The joy of action. Imagine that you’ve just created a beautiful business website. You’ve mastered how to pull and keep visitors to your site using every technique and trick you know. Confident, you go live and launch it in the virtual world. You get lucky because you know who you want to attract, what they want and need, and how they want to be handled. You give it to them. You get your first email, your first action. Joy! Visitors keep on coming back for more, prospect emails pile up. Even your spouse notices. Then it happens, your interactions spawn transactions, the most desirable actions. Joy! You have a future. Joy! Unless you are adequately prepared, that magic moments of first client interactions or transactions may take weeks, months, or even years. Just because 7 billion people can view your website it doesn’t mean they’ll find your domain name in a jiffy and call you to action. Your site’s domain name has to be marketed. Posting your attractive value proposition on your site is the first step, but you also need to know about client touch points, external (to your website) and internal (in your website). Both are critical to your goal but always start with the external touchpoints if you want to be prosperous. It’s all about seducing your market with the right touchpoints. Let’s talk about the two main touch point categories, your e-prosperous zones.
