I have the firewall that came with my windows xp. (http://nba.sports-sport.info/lakers-nba.html) I want a better one. (http://nba.sports-sport.info/nba-rumor-trade.html) What is a VERY good firewall i can download and use for free that dosen't slow down my computer?

BlackICE may be good, Zone Alarm sucks and usually some antivirus program comes with firewalls. (ie. Kaspersky, Norton Anti-Virus or Norton Internet Security).

A router is your best bet using NAT.

If your really looking for a good do it yourself firewall. One thats free and a total hands on affair try ghostwall.

Hi Will Miller,
I have to agree with Cadworkz on this, if you want the best protection, and NAT firewall Router is your best bet. If you still want extra protection, use the windows firewall as well, and put in there Defender and some good anti-virus programs as well.
Personally I use the NAT router, with the windows Firewall, Defender, and Avira Anti-Virus, basically all free software, and I've not had a problem with the computer in many years.... :)
