Dot-nf will not expire if the registrant continues to renew the registration.
New registration of dot-nf domain names was terminated on Dec 3.
New registration of dot-nl domain names was started on Dec 3.
If a registrant currently holds a dot-nf registration, he cannot switch the registration to a dot-nl version.
If a registrant currently holds a dot-nf registration, he can ADD the dot-nl version of the domain. I.E. If the registrant holds abc.nf.ca, he can add abc.nl.ca. The registrant holds and pays for two registrations.
If another version of the domain name exists, the dot-nf registrant may not have to go through the registration of a conflicting domain name process (RCDN) to register a dot-nl version of the same name IF THE REQUEST WAS MADE BEFORE JUNE 11, 2003.
