----- HOW TO TAKE COMPLETE WEB SITE BACKUP ---
Cpanel has a very useful functionality of web site backup. This
functionality creates a file which is the mirror image of your web site. It
means, it has all the web site content, al the email accounts and the email
account contents, scripts installed and their database backups.
In other words, you can create the same web site with the same databases,
the same scripts and the same email addresses on another cpanel account on
another web server by just restoring the file. The file restoration takes
between 10 to 30 minutes.

To get a copy of your web site, please do the following:

- login to your control panel through http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel
(replace the yourdomain.com with your domain name
- Click on the backup icon
- Click on the Download Today's Home Backup
- It will ask you open or save, please click save after selecting a
directory you use for backup files. The backup file name will include the
date of the backup. This will help you to find the latest backup by just
reading the name.

Sibername recommends repeating this process at least once a month. Having
the file ready will drastically shorten the time of recovery if a hard drive
failure or similar problem happens on the server.

Even we keep the backups on the secondary disk and can restore your files,
having the backups on your hard drive will help you to have your web site
back much faster.
