Current Registrar (Such as Network Solutions, Verisign,

Domain name owner: You are the decision maker. The transfer request is started by you. You are to confirm the transfer letters by following the instructions sent to your email address. Starts the domain transfer. After Sibername starts the process, the registry sends a confirmation by email to the domain name owner. This is the first letter that should be confirmed by the Domain Name Owner.
Current Registrar: After the Domain Name Owner confirms the first letter; the Current Registrar sends another email to the Domain Name Owner for confirmation of the transfer.

Mandatory Requirements Before You Apply:

The Domain Name Owner must update his email address with the one (s) they are actively using. Domain Name email address information can be obtained by performing a whois query for the domain through the link below:

You must contact your Current Registrar and update of your email address if necessary.
If the Current Registrar is Verisign/NetworkSolutions or, transfer must take place at least 45 days prior to the expiry day of the domain. This requirement does not apply to the other Registrars. The expiry date of the domain can also be accessed from the address:

If this condition is not met, the Domain Name must be renewed at the current registrar before starting the transfer request. We would recommend the transfer right after the renewal. Your transfer will also renew the domain name for one more year and you will never pay three times the normal fees, the next time you have to renew.

Summary of the process:

After receiving your application, we initiate the transfer process through the registry.
The registry sends the first confirmation by email to the Domain Name Owner‘s email address. This step is required to make sure the Domain Name Owner is aware of the change. The email includes instructions for confirming the transfer.
After this step is completed, the domain transfer request is sent to your current registrar. If your current registrar is Network Solutions (or Verisign), they will also send an email to the email address and ask for the confirmation of the transfer. This email also includes the details of the confirmation process.
After you confirm for the second time, your domain transfer is completed. Transfer is activated in 7 business days. After 7 days, you should update your domain information by using links.

Please feel free to contact us should you require additional information.
