Client Touchpoints On Your Website : Calling for action!
External client touchpoints are links outside your website leading prospects to visit your website. Internal touchpoints are all those links throughout your website that lead prospects to communicate with you or your organization directly. Once external touchpoints start pushing enough visitor traffic to your website, it’s then up to your site’s internal touchpoints to pull the attention of some of those curious visitors closer to your “call to action” buttons (or links) to make them push one. You succeed, a visitor clicks one of your “call for information” buttons and you get an email. Joy! Market interactions begin.
The “call for information” button is so very useful because it helps you enrich your website content with the help of the very people whose business you seek. We should then continually improve website content by inviting market feedback, especially the content focused around your value-adding proposition. Do this and you’ll have more productive and profitable interactions. Market-driven, focused content leads to trusted interactions and, as you know, trusted interactions become transactions! One memorable day one of your many frequent website visitors will click your “call for quote” button. Since luck favours those who are prepared, as you will be, you quote and sell! Joy!
