What is the Sibername Agent Program? It is a program developed by Sibername to increase its sales force by using his existing clients on profit share model. This is a revolutionary way of sharing profit by customers and took years of experience and work to develop this program. This program is still open to your feedbacks if we have done something not perfect. A company or a person who would like to sell Sibername services. Any active sibername account owner is an Agent. Any existing Sibername customer can access to the agent area through the link http://www.sibername.com/user . No payment or application is required to be an agent. If you are an active Sibername customer you are also an agent. Does it Cost to be a Sibername Agent? There is no setup fee or renewal fees for this privilege. No matter how much commission you are making. Do I receive any marketing material if I sign up? Yes. Sibername has produced a CD that makes the Sibername Services Selling process easier. As an agent, you are eligible to receive CD's, Posters and a Display to put the CD's on a counter in your shop upon request. You can find Sibername Marketing Materials graphical art source files through the link http://sibername.com/agent/. It includes a software program that runs on MAC and PC environment. Once the potential customer enters the CD in his or her PC's CD Player, it automatically starts and walks customer through the domain registration and service ordering process. That CD makes it very easy for someone to order domain name and other Sibername Services.
License code is 8 character code that can be used for multiple purposes. Active license is a license for which we have received the payment with the agent discount and assigned the license to specific service or services. Agents can activate the licenses through the agent interface. What is a Static User License? Every Sibername customer has a static license code assigned to their accounts. They can hand this license code to the referrals coming through word of mouth way of reference and ask the referrals to use this license code during their application for our service. We distribute CDs to our agents upon their requests. These CD's have inactive licenses printed on the. These inactive licenses will be assigned to the agents in inactive mode. Agents can activate these licenses for specific services through their agent area . If an inactive license used by the referral, this will function as Static User License explained above. help us to pay commission to this agent for this referral. This is a useful method when you simply hand out the Sibername CDs to potential sibername clients. As an Agent, how Can I use a License? A License can be used for 2 different purposes. Inactive or Static User License can be used as a code to specify that a customer signs up as a referral through an Agent. Referral pays the full amount. Agent gets the commission added to his balance. Active License can be used in cases where referral makes the full payment to the agent. Agent activates this License Code through his for the service he received the payment for. Referral pays the full amount, Agent pays the amount after agent discount to us to get this license code activated. Referral uses this code online and gets the service without a need for another payment. Can you give me an example of using the license as an advanced payment option? Say that you have sold a Sibername Service to a customer. You have received the full amount from this Customer. You can create a license code that can be used by this customer on our web site. You purchase the code for 20% off from your interface. Customer has now completed his payment part. He/she will proceed with the application. He/ she will enter the license code on the payment page and not be asked for another payment. Some customers are reluctant to use their credit card online and some prefer making payment by cash at the point of sale. The usage of license code will make the purchase of the services possible from many locations in Canada. Can you give me an example of using the License code to specify the applicant as my referral? Say that you have a shop. You have our CD's in our Display on your counter. A customer picks one of our CD's from your shop. He goes home and enters the license code shown on the CD, because we have assigned this license code to you, we know that this customer is referred by you. You will get agent commission for services referred through this CD. Not only from the first referral for every referral who has signed up through that CD. How many license codes will I get? You don't need inactive licence's because you have one static user license that you can use for many referrals. On the other hand, there is no limit on the license codes you can generate through the agent interface. You can activate a CD license through your user interface. Can I activate the license more than once? No. A license can only be activated once. A license continues to be your referral ID. What other advantage the CD brings? The CD is a tool that you can use for multi purposes. All CD's come with a license code. License codes of the CD's you receive are assigned to your account with us. If someone takes this CD from you and uses the license code on his or her application, you will get your agent commission for all services ordered by this CD. If more than one person uses this CD, you are the agent of all customers referred by the CD. Think about the possibilities. If the license code on the CD is used before it is activated, the CD user will make the full amount payment through any payment method accepted on our web site like Cash, Money Order, Cheque, Paypal and Credit Card. Once this payment is received, your account will be credited for the agent commission. So far all you did is to hand the CD over to a potential customer and sit and check your commission to grow. Another way of using the License code is to activate it for a certain service. For example you have found someone who wants to purchase a domain name and web hosting. You can activate this license for the service your customer wants by paying 20% less than the total price of the service (10% for domain name registrations). You get the full amount from the customer. You can even sell it less than our prices if you think less than 20% profit is enough for you and because customer wants the discount. Customer takes the CD and apply through it at his or her convenience. Enter the domain name. He or she is asked for the license code and enters the license code activated by you. The service assigned for this license code comes up automatically. And customer does not pay any extra money to Sibername. We activate the service because it comes from an activated and not used license. I have received my CD's and seen there are codes on them. Do I have to do anything with these codes? No, you don't have to do anything with these numbers. Before sending the CD's out to you, we assign the number printed on the CD's to your account. If a referral uses the license code, we will know it comes from your referral.
What if the activated license used more than once? If the License is tried for the second time, it works as if it is a not activated license. So, customer pays the full amount and you get the commission to your account after we receive the payment for the service ordered. Can I use a license for a service that i add to my account? No. The licenses can only be used by a new customer. Can I renew a service or domain by using a license? No. The license codes can't be used for renewing existing client services. Because a customer has its agent referral code in the database, there is no need to use a license code to get a commission. Commission is added automatically to the agent of the client. Can I activate licenses by using my account balance? Absolutely. You can purchase any service or activate licenses by using the money accumulated in your account. How else i can guarantee that the CD will show me as the referrer? You can download the CD content and burn it to a CD after editing the text file called agentCode.txt If your Sibername User ID is 12345 you will simply replace the existing code in the file &agent=000000& with &agent=12345& and burn the CD with this data. Whoever uses this CD will send us your agent code as the referrer. You can find the source code for the CD as well as its label ready to be printed through the agent area http://www.sibername.com/user What if the customer orders only a domain name. Will i get only ? It is not worth it: We think it is worth it. Because any service that will be ordered by this client in the future will also add your account with commission of the service ordered. Most likely this person will need a hosting service or another service with his domain name. Your commission is 20% for the first year and 10% for the years this service is renewed by you or by your client except the following services:

You can get agent banners through the agent area. For my verbal referrals to your services, is there a license code that shows this is my referral? Yes. We have assigned a static license code to each our customers. This license code can be retrieved from the . Simply type this license code on a paper and hand it to our potential customer. We will know this is your referral with the help of this licence code. Or you can simply ask them to access our web site at http://www.sibername.com/?agent=<your license code>. This will work like a banner click on your web site. Can I get the 20% and 10% commission for every Sibername Service? Your commission is 20% for the first year and 10% for the years this service is renewed by you or by your client except the following services which has commission rate:
What if my referral orders another service? Then you are still the referral of the new service. You will get your commission for the years the service is renewed for each service your referral has ordered and paid. What if my referral renews the service directly with Sibername? That does not make any difference. As long as the service is renewed, by your renewal license code or directly by the customer, your account will be credited by the renewal commission that applies to this service. What if the customer cancels his service and gets a refund? We receive less than 0.1% cancellations for new services. This most probably won't affect you. But If a service is cancelled and a refund is made, your commission for that service will be deducted from your account. How can I apply to be an Agent? If you are a Sibername user, you are already an Agent. Please login to your user area to see the links. If you don't have any account with us, you can create a new account through http://www.sibername.com/user No purchase necessary to be an agent. Can I sell the services with different prices? Yes but it is recommended not to sell it more than shown on our web site. Because they will contact us for their support requests and they will see our actual prices. But you can sell it cheaper if you like. Can you give me an example scenario to understand better? Say that a customer picked the free CD up from you or from your shop and went home. Ordered a domain name by using this CD. This purchase made him or her your referral and you received the of the Domain Name Registration fee. 3 months later he decided to purchase 2 more domains and no hosting yet. You have received another of the total payment made by them. If they paid for 10 year registration of 2 domain names. You have received 13.46 times 10 times 0.1 per domain equals $13.46 - for 2 domains 2 x $13.46. Next Year they ordered Silver Web Hosting plan. The cost of the service is $79 per year. You have been credited for 20% of the $79 which is $31.6 CAD. The following year they have renewed their domain name and hosting plans. You wont get any commission for domain name renewals. But you will get $15.80 for the service renewed by them. If you have noticed, all you did is handing the CD over to this guy. Think about the potential.
How do we know that a CD is used by your referral? Before we mail the CD's out, we assign their numbers - that you can see at the bottom of the CD's - to the agent that we send the CD to. Our system knows which number corresponds to what license code. If a referral uses a license code on a CD, because we have already assigned the number of that CD to you, the system will know that this is your referral. Please know that this part of the project is handled manually by us and we are very careful to assign the right agent ID to the CDs we send. This is very important for us because the success of the agent project depends on you to get the money you deserved. Can I see the details of my commission income? Yes. The commission interface on your Agent interface will show the dates, the order numbers and amounts of the payments made by your referral and your commission. Can I add money to my account to use it for activating licenses? Yes. You can add money to your account through your user interface and use it for activating licenses or renewing or buying new services for you self. Can I withdraw my account balance? Yes. You can withdraw your account balance after 30 days. Minimum limit is $25 CAD for a balance to be withdrawn. We can send you a check or paypal. Can I download the marketing material and distribute it my self? Yes. You will be able to get the files for printing Sibername service marketing materials through your agent program interface. Can I duplicate the CD and distribute it with my Customer ID in the license code field? Yes. You can find the source code to be downloaded and burned to a CD through the agent program interface. You can find CD label and CD holder graphical art to be printed on this interface. How can i add my agent ID in the CD content that i will send out? Please download the CD content from your user interface. After unzipping the CD content, find the file called "AgentCode.txt". Replace the part &agent=000000& with your account number. You can find your account number through the user interface at http://www.sibername.com/user or ask us through email at support@sibername.com. Once you burn the CD's with your agent code in it, it will have priority over the license code the referral might enter during his application. For these CD's, we will know you are the one you should get the commission. Do i have to support my customers? No. They are like our direct customers. We will be the point of contact for any support request. Will they have the same quality support as the other customers? Definitely Yes. We don't discriminate our customers based on where they are referred from. Is there a Risk that you will not add my commissions for sales that i can not keep track of? No. We have tested our system and we know that you will get your commission for any service ordered by your referral according to our commission structure.
