Publishing your Yola site to your Facebook Page creates a new tab on your page – a Facebook version of your website, designed to fit in perfectly with the Facebook Timeline layout. Having your Yola site integrated into your Facebook page means that your Facebook fans will be able to explore your Yola website, shop from your Online Store, or complete a contact form, all without leaving Facebook.
Here’s how to get started:
Log into your Yola account.
Click on “Edit This Site” on the site you want to publish to Facebook.
This will open it in the Sitebuilder.
Click Settings > Publishing > Connect With Facebook.
You’ll be prompted to make a connection to your Facebook account. Your details are simply required to enable the Sitebuilder to connect to your Facebook Page.
You only need to enter these details for your first publish – after that, Facebook Page tab is automatically updated every time you republish your site.
Select the Facebook Page you’d like to use.
If you don’t have a Facebook Page, you can set one up in a few minutes by clicking “set up a new one” at the bottom of the page. A new tab will open, allowing you to complete the page-creation process. When you’re done, exit the Facebook Publishing box in My Yola, click on “Facebook Publishing” again and your new page will be displayed in the page selection menu.
Click “Select Page”.
That’s it! Your Yola site and Facebook page are now linked. Every time you publish your site, your Facebook Page will automatically be updated. Click “OK” to close the screen.
