For other domain name extensions, the losing registrar generally does not confirm the transfer manually which causes a 7-day delay to complete the transfer. You can expedite this process by asking them to confirm earlier, instead of waiting for it to be automatically done. Unless the domain name expires during this time, there should be no service interruptions. For this reason, we strongly recommend starting your domain transfer at least 2 weeks before its expiry date.
